Ok, so we are leaving in just a few for Phlorida Phish..why does it have to be so darn far away and have such amazing appeal? I can't wait but on the same behalf, I wouldn't mind just bumming around for the entire duration of my winter break ;) Ahh well! We joined the cell phone nation so at least getting in touch with folks will be much easier!

At least thats what I call it..its something I'm not part of and up until recently, not something I've ever wanted to be part of. But to be honest, when my husband is too lazy to learn how to use the voicemail and its impossible to get in touch with some people without one..maybe the time has come. Today is the day when Joey and I go out to get our Christmas tree..I'm really kinda hoping that they have some nice trees left because last year we had to wait until we got paid and got screwed and ended up with a pretty shabby tree!! This year alas, we live in a little old town in a very old house and our tree just needs to look perfect..I want it to be perfect!! Its a very wonderful feeling to be able to say that you'll be spending Christmas in your very first house..
no shabby apartment..
no sketchy neighbors...
just plain old traditions beginning anew..for two very happy home owners :)

So what exactly happens when you are continually dealing with 31 students on a daily basis and your husband deals with approximately 80 students on a daily basis? Inevitably, you get slammed with a cold at some point in time! No matter how many times you wash your hands or take precautions to keep the tissue box away from your desk, its going to happen. You can sub for years and still not become immune to all those wonderful little germs! One will get you..the next thing you know, you need the silly tissues too!! 8:44 PM 12/10/2003

Take it or leave it..
Being in our new house, I'm rather amused by the snow. When do they intend to plow our street or do they just forget about the end streets at times like this? Now is when I am most thankful that the morons who lived her previously decided to create off street parking in the back. Those signs that say "No Parking when Road is Snow Covered" actually mean something! It means "It sucks not to have off street parking". Magnolia leaves covered in snow and Christmas lights are a gorgeous thing. Now..if only we had a snow blower! 10:50 AM 12/06/2003

I've been following several blogs for quite some time and I've found them all to be quite interesting! It sparked my interest..so, here I am! My husband will also have one once we get him settled along, but until then, I guess you get to listen to *yours truly* talk up a storm!
